For hotel bookings, there's no fee to you. Outpost Travel earns a commission directly from the hotels. Through Virtuoso and our preferred partnerships across the major luxury groups, we also unlock perks at no additional cost: room upgrades, hotel credits, daily breakfast, early check-in and late checkout.

For end-to-end trip planning, we work with a trusted network of ground suppliers covering accommodation, guides, transport, and experiences. Through these relationships, we access trade and net rates that aren't publicly available. Our margin is built into the trip cost, so you see one clear price, and overall pricing stays competitive.

Budgets vary by destination, seasonality, and travel style.

For hotel bookings, Outpost Travel typically works with properties from USD 500 per room per night onwards. In Southeast Asia, rates start from around USD 300 per room per night.

For end-to-end trip planning, journeys start from USD 500 per person per day, excluding flights. Each journey is bespoke, so costs are highly variable depending on destination, group size, and the experiences involved.

Virtuoso is a global network of luxury travel advisors. Outpost books through our host agency, Alchemist Travel, a Virtuoso member, so your stays carry Virtuoso benefits. Many of the world's best hotels, cruise lines and ground operators offer Virtuoso clients benefits they don't extend to anyone else.

At a Virtuoso hotel that typically means daily breakfast for two, a hotel credit (often USD 100) to use during your stay, an upgrade on arrival when available, and early check-in or late checkout on request. Benefits vary by property, and we confirm them in writing with every quote.

At most major hotel groups, yes. Bookings made through us usually still earn points and recognise your member status, just as if you'd booked direct. If points matter to you, tell us and we'll check before you book.

Yes. Groups with multiple generations, different paces, and varied needs are exactly where having a single, dedicated point of contact makes the most difference. We handle the coordination so no one in the group has to.

Yes, we'd be happy to plan around specific medical or accessibility requirements. That might mean coordinating additional support such as a travelling nurse, ensuring the right facilities are in place (dialysis, for example), or simply building the itinerary with extra care around your needs.
